LUMÉ by Barko (the “Site”) respects visitors’ privacy. Here is how we treat information. Draft for the site owner to review before launch.
What we collect
We do not collect contact details: the Site has no registration, account, forms or payment, so we receive no name, email, phone, address or card details.
Your language and cookie choices are stored in your browser. If you accept cookies, your saved items are also kept in your own browser only and are not sent to us.
When you click “Buy” we record that a given item was clicked (item code and retailer), with no identifying details. Like any website, the hosting server may log technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, for operation and security.
How we use it
To understand which pieces interest visitors and to improve the Site and the curation.
To operate and secure the Site and prevent misuse.
To comply with the law.
We send no mailings and do not use the information for advertising.
Affiliate links and third parties
Links on the Site are affiliate links: we may earn a commission from the retailer on a purchase made through them, at no extra cost to you. Once you reach the retailer’s site, the retailer’s terms and privacy policy apply, and the retailer may collect information about you itself.
We do not pass information about visitors to third parties, other than providers that run the Site (such as hosting) or where the law requires.
Cookies
An essential cookie stores your language choice. Saved items are stored only with your consent. You can change your choice at any time with “Manage cookies” at the bottom of the Site, or clear the data from your browser.
Security
We use customary security measures, but absolute protection against intrusion and unauthorised use cannot be guaranteed.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you may review information held about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Since we hold no identifying details, most information is in your own browser. To contact us, use the Contact page.
